This module is aimed at participants working in the areas of service, maintenance and production of wind turbines who have no previous training in electrical engineering. The focus is on the laws of electrophysics, electrical components in wind turbines and the risks emanating from such components. Participants learn to adhere to safety rules and safety measures. Participants are also taught to carry out and document simple electrical engineering work on safety extra low voltage (SELV) under the supervision of a qualified electrician.
The RSC provides the theoretical principles and all information relating to safety-related behaviour. The participant must receive additional practical instruction at the company where he/she works.
