This module is designed for persons working in the production, erection, service and maintenance of wind turbines. The focus is on the various goods management systems and processes. Participants are taught to handle incoming and outgoing goods, and how to operate storage installations, conveyor vehicles and other aids.

Describe the incoming and outgoing goods processes
Assign products and equipment to the goods management catalogue
Describe warehouse management systems
Describe the use of logistics aids for goods storage, goods issue and internal transport
Record storage and commissioning systems

Accept and issue goods
Document incoming and outgoing goods
Prepare goods for shipping/transport
Choose conveyance systems
Transport goods in-house
Maintain goods, check shelf life of goods, take non-usable goods out of service and document
Conduct an inventory

Prerequisites

Vocational training in mechanics or electrical engineering
